LETHBRIDGE – Charges are pending after the Southern Alberta Emergency Response Team and Pincher Creek RCMP located what they believe to be crack cocaine as well as several firearms from a rural residence.
Police executed a search warrant on a property located near the Pincher Creek airport at approximately 10 p.m., on Sept 21.
A man was located inside the home and taken into custody without incident.
After executing a more extensive search of the property on Sept. 22 with the assistance of the RCMP Special Tactical Operation team, police found what appeared to be crack cocaine, as well as firearms.
Charges are pending against several individuals associated with the property and the investigation is ongoing.
