An Esterhazy, Sask. man is facing child pornography charges after allegedly sharing child porn images over the internet.
On May 19, Saskatchewan’s ICE unit began investigating a man who police said was downloading and sharing child porn videos and images through a peer-to-peer file sharing network.

On Sept. 20, police said officers executed a search warrant at the residence of 52-year-old Jeffrey A. Markey. Police said they located numerous child pornography videos and images that were obtained and shared online.

Markey has been charged with possessing child pornography and making child pornography available to others.
Markey appeared in a Yorkton courtroom on Wednesday morning.
