TORONTO – Police arrested three men and seized one firearm in the Victoria Park and Sunrise Avenue area Wednesday afternoon.
Police were chasing the one suspect near 25 Sunrise Ave. just before 5p.m. when he escaped and entered the O’Connor Community Centre at 1386 Victoria Park Ave forcing a hold and secure.

Witnesses at the scene told Global News there were 21 children in the daycare between the ages of three to six.
Police were able to moved the kids to Clairlea Junior School at 25 Rosalind Crescent for parents to pick up at around 5:30p.m.
Police were seen surrounding the community centre with the Emergency Task Force.
