Céline Dion released a new song, Recovering, on Thursday in honour of her late husband René Angélil, who died in January after battling throat cancer.

The song gives voice to Dion’s feelings about life without the man she called “the only boyfriend” she’s ever had. Here’s a snippet of the lyrics:

“Little by little, day by day/ One step at a time/ Shake off the devil/ Take back my piece of mind/ I am recovering.”

The My Heart Will Go On singer revealed in July that Pink wrote the emotional track for her.

“She is phenomenal. I love her for her talent, for her strength, for her focus, the person she is,” the French-Canadian singer said of Pink. “At the [Billboard Music Awards], when I saw her, I said, ‘For you to take the time to really write a song, to give me a tool, a piece of luggage to help me to move forward to walk to keep going…'”
