Despite police interviewing eyewitnesses and reviewing surveillance tape, it was a 911 call that led to his arrest.
“Longueuil police received a call to 911 regarding a suspicious man hanging around vehicles,” said Montreal police spokesperson André Leclerc, adding that Ste-Marie is known to police.
“He is the man linked with the armed robbery in Outremont.”
Ste-Marie’s alleged accomplice, Geneviève Dallaire, was charged with armed robbery on Saturday.
