Two people have been taken to hospital in serious condition after a car crashed into a passenger waiting area at the TTC’s Long Branch Loop in Etobicoke.
Emergency crews were called to the transit loop, located near Brown’s Line and Lake Shore Boulevard West, just before 3 a.m. Saturday.

A man, who is believed to be in his 70s, was inside the shelter at the time of the collision.
The man, along with the woman driving the car, were taken to hospital.
A female passenger inside the car was treated for minor injuries.
Toronto police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the collision.
