A female cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a hit-and-run in Brampton Thursday evening.
Peel police were called to the scene just before 11 p.m. in the area of Steeles and McLaughlin Rd.
Officers located a 26-year-old cyclist in serious condition and she was transported to a trauma centre.

Police say a red hatchback car fled the scene. No further description was released.
Police are looking for anyone in the area at the time to come forward.
