B.C. Wildfire Service crews are battling a 14 hectare wildfire about 18 kilometres west of West Kelowna.
Twenty seven firefighters are on site with support from air tankers, skimmer aircraft and helicopters.
Twenty more firefighters are en route to help contain the wildfire.

Officials said the fire, which sparked Sunday morning, is about 2.5 kilometres east of the resort on Jackpine Lake but no structures are currently threatened.
“It’s not tremendously windy but it is displaying rank three fire behaviour,” fire information officer Max Birkner said.
“The fire is in the trees so it’s more than just a ground fire.”
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
