Officials are trying to determine what caused an explosion at a medical marijuana dispensary in north Toronto that sent one man to hospital.

Emergency services crews were called to the Tweeder Medicinal Dispensary on Eglinton Avenue West, west of Avenue Road, after 7:30 p.m. Friday after an explosion blew out the front window.

A man was found at the business with serious burns. He was taken to hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

The Office of the Fire Marshall and Toronto police were called in to assist with the investigation.
