Spot fire near Crystal Mountain

Crews are in the mop-up stage after battling a spot fire on Crystal Mountain Tuesday night.

The lightning-caused fire, which grew to about 0.2 hectares was reported Tuesday evening.

Four B.C. Wildfire personnel, along with members of the West Kelowna Fire Department were called to the scene.

The B.C. Wildfire Service can not confirm if the fire was caused by a new lightning strike or if this fire was caused by a flare up.
