BreakOut West music festival unveils 2016 lineup

Music fans in Saskatchewan will soon be able to flock to Regina to see a wide range of Canadian music talent.

The Western Canadian lineup announced its list of performers for this year’s BreakOut West festival, including 15 Saskatchewan artists.

A total of 58 artists from British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan will be playing at 11 different venues across Regina from Oct. 13 to 16.

The bands and artists span all different genres, including pop, rock, country, hip hop, jazz, classical and children’s music.

Also new this year, genre-specific Western Canadian Music Awards will be presented throughout the festival weekend.

Starting on Aug. 10, festival wristbands will be available to purchase at X-Ray Records, Coda Clothing and Rebellion Brewing.
