Saint John police is investigating possible financial irregularities at the Cherry Brook Zoo.
According to a release, the board of directors contacted police after financial statements were reviewed by an outside accountant and irregularities were found.

Cherry Brook is the first accredited zoo in Atlantic Canada and has received widespread financial support from local businesses in the community.
The board says it’s committed to putting the zoo on a sound and sustainable financial footing.
