Saskatchewan RCMP say a wanted Alberta man was arrested by officers in Manitoba this past weekend.
On July 24, a member of the public reported a stolen truck to Tisdale RCMP. The vehicle had been taken on July 16 from the Peesane, Sask., area.
During their search in the RM of Bjorkdale, Tisdale officers found an SUV stolen out of Saskatoon on July 9.
Nine firearms were located inside the SUV, seven of which were loaded. Investigators determined the firearms had been stolen on July 16 from the same residence as the truck.

A 26-year-old woman was identified and a search involving police dogs was undertaken.
RCMP eventually found the woman in a rural residence northeast of Peesane and arrested her at around 5:40 p.m. CT on July 24. Charges are pending against her as she awaits a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday.
At around 3 p.m. the same day, Tisdale RCMP passed on information about a stolen vehicle that may have been carrying firearms into Saskatchewan via The Pas RCMP detachment’s area.
The Pas RCMP located the stolen truck in Manitoba and tried to stop it using a spike belt. The driver got stuck in a ditch attempting to avoid police.

Officers conducted a high-risk take down and arrested the 25-year-old Alberta man without any injuries. A loaded firearm was seized during a search of the truck.
Joshua Snakeskin, of Rocky Mountain House, is facing 13 charges including numerous weapons offences. He was also wanted on nine outstanding warrants back in Alberta.
Snakeskin was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in The Pas provincial court on Wednesday.
