Meteorologists with Environment Canada are tracking a severe thunderstorm near Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague, about an hour’s drive west of Montreal.
The storm could turn into a tornado, producing damaging wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain that could damage buildings, down trees and blow large vehicles off the road.

Officials are warning residents to stay inside, especially if conditions worsen.
Thunderstorm watches are also in effect for the Sainte-Marie-de-Beauce region.
