High-risk offender from Calgary arrested at Nanton family campground

A 56-year-old man was arrested and charged after police say he failed to comply with a condition of his probation: to not be near children.

Kenneth Hornby was arrested at a family campground in Nanton by RCMP and is currently in the custody of Calgary police.

Nanton RCMP said the arrest was the result of their collaboration with Calgary police’s High Risk Offender Program.

Hornby has been charged with failing to comply with a probation order and breach of a prohibition.
