Three Regina residents charged with break and enter in city’s east end

Three Regina residents have been charged following a break and enter early Monday morning in Regina’s east end.

Regina police say at around 3 a.m. they were called to a residence on the 4000 block of Windsor Park Bay for a report of suspicious persons.

According to police, two men and one woman were arrested. Canine units were also dispatched.

John Luke Lubenow, 22, Evan Joseph Clarence Spencer, 21, and Kyla Dunbar, 21 were each charged with break and enter, and theft under $5,000.

According to police, Dunbae was taken to hospital for treatment after being attacked by the canine.

Police said the three suspects were checking out vehicles in the area. Through a police investigation,  officers discovered a garage on the 3200 block of Windsor Park Place that had been broken into.

However, police say the items that were stolen were recovered.

All three individuals made their first appearance on these charges in provincial court Monday afternoon.
