WINNIPEG — School is out and summer is here, which means it’s summer fair season. This fair though, had a little added bonus, with proceeds going towards helping some fellow Winnipegers.

The Schools Out Summer Fair ran all afternoon at the Mosaic Event Centre where people of all ages got together to enjoy some face painting, bouncy castle time, and guest appearances from favourite superheros and princesses.

All net proceeds from the event will go towards Guardians of The Children. Which is a non-profit group that helps and supports families and children from abuse.

The mandate of the volunteer run non-profit group is to recognize and react to child abuse and educate the public to do the same.
