Body found in Bow River in Calgary near St. Patrick’s Island

Calgary police are investigating after a passerby spotted a body in the Bow River Thursday, near St. Patrick’s Island.

Police aren’t confirming if it was a man or woman, but say it’s an adult.

A member of the public reported seeing the body around 8:30 a.m.

Investigators are now waiting for the medical examiner to help determine whether the person’s death is suspicious.
