RCMP are investigating after Chillabong’s Bar & Grill in Red Deer was allegedly robbed at gunpoint shortly before midnight Sunday.
Police said the suspect entered the lounge, located at 69 Dunlop Street, wielding a handgun.
He allegedly demanded cash and instructed staff to place it in a bag he had brought with him.

The suspect then left through the front door and was seen entering the passenger side of a grey Ford F150. The vehicle was then seen driving westbound toward the Morrisroe neighbourhood, on the southeast side of the city.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, about 6” tall and 175 lbs. He was wearing a half-face skull mask, a black Ecko hoodie with white writing, dark pants and black gloves.
