Winnipeg Jets bringing back Brenden Kichton

WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Jets announced they’ve re-signed defenceman Brenden Kichton.

Kichton, 24, a restricted free agent, agreed to a one-year, two-way contract worth $600,000 if he’s playing with the Jets.

Kichton led the Manitoba Moose in scoring last season with 11 goals and 30 assists in 68 games. He was called up twice by the Jets last season but did not appear in any games. Kichton has played three seasons in the organization after being selected by the Jets in the seventh round of the 2013 NHL Draft.
