The case of a man charged in the death of a popular Halifax yoga instructor is due in court Tuesday.
Nicholas Jordan Butcher is facing a charge of second-degree murder in the death of 32-year-old Kristin Johnston.
Lawyers are expected to set dates for a preliminary hearing after the case was adjourned last month.

Johnston’s body was found at a Halifax-area home on March 26th.

At the time, police said the pair were in a “domestic relationship.”
Butcher was rushed to hospital for treatment of injuries described as significant, but not life-threatening.
Johnston moved to Halifax from Montreal and opened a Bikram yoga studio, gaining a reputation as a kind and determined businesswoman.
