Police in Moose Jaw arrested a man who was wanted in connection to numerous stolen items in the area.
On July 3 police received a call about a man who was sitting in a Tim Horton’s parking lot for several hours and after thorough investigation by police they identified him as the suspect in an ongoing investigation about stolen property and illegal possession of firearms.
Police executed a high risk warrant to arrest the man and he was taken into custody without incident.
Forty-six-year-old Wayne Scott McGuire is facing a slew of charges including possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a stolen vehicle (Chevrolet Avalanche) and possession of an explosive substance.
McGuire remains in custody and will make his first court appearance on Tuesday morning.
