A male and female occupant of a home escaped serious injuries following a fire in Etobicoke overnight.
Fire crews responded to the scene at 30th Street around 2 a.m. to find the dwelling engulfed in flames.

Toronto Fire say heavy black smoke was visible a block away, however two people were able to exit the home without harm.
The blaze was under control around 3 a.m. and the estimated damage to the home is around $250,000.
There’s no word yet on the cause of the fire.
