TORONTO –When Bruce Springsteen took over the Rogers Centre on Friday, one little girl became part of the concert as the Boss brought her up on stage to join him in a song.
Halle Tator, just one of the thousands of fans at the Rogers Centre was chosen by Springsteen to sing a duet.
“I was like oh my god, oh my god, I’m going to go up on stage with Bruce Springsteen,” Tator said. “My heart was beating really fast because all the people were looking at me.”

But 10-year-old Tator didn’t succumb to the pressure, belting out the chorus to “Waiting on a Sunny Day,” with Springsteen.
She did such a good job that some people on Twitter thought the entire thing had been set up.
One person wrote, “A 12-year-old girl just got up on stage and belted three lines of a Springsteen chorus. Calling it: PLANT.”
Tator’s family maintains that it was not pre-arranged but rather, as Springsteen fans, they knew that he frequently pulls female fans from the crowd to sing with him.
“And then when he came over and he got her – I think I had an out of body experience,” Halle’s father Sendor said. “I couldn’t take picture, I couldn’t take video. I was just enjoying every second.”
Tator is not only drawing the envy of women around the world for singing a duet with the New Jersey superstar, but also the kiss on the cheek she received afterwards.
“Oh my god because I didn’t know he was going to do that to me,” Tator said. “And then when he kissed me, I was like ‘Wow.’”
