Firefighters are using air bags to raise the vehicle so it can be pulled from the pond.
In addition, crews have placed a boom in the water to stop fluids leaking from the vehicle from dispersing throughout the pond.
The Calgary Fire Department’s hazardous materials team will be assisting with cleanup.
