A driver in Kazakhstan made a pleasant discovery about his Tesla Model S: it can float.

No, this isn’t an added feature Tesla CEO Elon Musk developed for the model (though, who would be surprised?). Instead, it’s a fortunate circumstance of the electric car.

As most people know, driving through a flooded road can cause serious problems for an ordinary gas-powered vehicle. This occurs because the engine and exhaust flood.

But Musk had a word of advice for other Tesla drivers:

Of course, it’s worth noting that you should never drive through flooded roads, as the depth of the water can be deceiving and you and your car can be swept away. Also, don’t use your phone while driving.
