Mechanics spent the weekend tuning up the bikes and on Tuesday, Rock 102, along with Care and Share, handed out the two-wheelers at Princess Alexandra Community School.

“Because of this program, we now have 170 kids that do have a bike and they can pass it down to their brothers or sisters, or wherever, and it just keeps going and going,” said Care and Share chairman Kent Gould.

The program has delivered about 2000 bikes since it began in 2007.
