Winnipeg Jets open the pre-season against Calgary Flames on September 27

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Jets will open the 2016-2017 NHL pre-season with three games in four days.

The Jets start their exhibition schedule by hosting the Calgary Flames on Tuesday, September 27. Winnipeg then faces the Minnesota Wild on Thursday, September 29 followed by the Edmonton Oilers on Friday, September 30. All three games will take place at MTS Centre.

The Jets play their first pre-season road game in Alberta on Sunday, October 2 against the Calgary Flames before returning home to host the Ottawa Senators the following Monday.

Winnipeg wraps up the pre-season away from Manitoba with games in Edmonton and Minnesota.

Prior to the pre-season, the Jets’ prospects will participate in the Young Stars Classic tournament between September 16-19 in Penticton, BC.
