MONTREAL – The lifeless body of a 62-year-old woman was discovered in a home in the south shore community of Chambly Sunday morning.
Local police were called to a residence on Beaulac Street at 5:25 a.m., where they made the grim discovery.

A 59-year-old man who found at the scene and arrested on site.
Police say the suspect was not known to police.
He is being detained for questioning and is expected to appear in a Longueuil courthouse Monday morning.
