Police said officers were called to a crash at Highway 23 and Highway 529 at around 9 p.m. after a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck that was hauling a boat.
Mounties said they believe the motorcyclist was travelling eastbound when he failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into the rear end of the truck hauling the boat.
The motorcyclist was killed as a result of the collision while the three people in the pickup truck were not hurt.
RCMP said they believe speed is a factor in the collision but do not believe alcohol played a role.
