A man was taken to hospital after being shot in North Battleford, Sask. on Friday night. Police say they were called to a home invasion on 112th Street just before midnight.

Mounties found a man suffering from a single, non-fatal gunshot wound.

He was airlifted by STARS to hospital in Saskatoon for medical treatment. There is no word on his current condition.

Battlefords RCMP were on the scene for hours over the weekend. So far no arrests have been reported.
