A man who pleaded guilty to assault in the swarming death of Lukas Strasser-Hird testified against his former friends Thursday.
Nikko Marasigan testified in the jury trial for three men accused of second-degree murder.
Franz Cabrera, Jordan Liao, Joch Pouk, and Assmar Shlah are all on trial, accused of the second-degree murder of the 18-year-old.
Strasser-Hird was beaten, kicked, and stabbed outside of a southwest bar on Nov. 23, 2013.
Marasigan told court he had about 15 to 20 drinks at Vinyl nightclub the night Strasser-Hird was killed.

But he said he “sobered up pretty quick” when he saw the events unfold in the alley behind the club.
Marasigan said Pouk was fighting with Strasser-Hird in the alley behind Vinyl nightclub.
He said he saw Pouk knock the 18-year-old down, and kick him in the head.
Marasigan testified Pouk kicked Strasser-Hird about ten times.
He told court he also kicked Strasser-Hird in the leg, but said his then-girlfriend pulled him away.
He said he heard a fifth person accused in the case, Nathan Gervais, told people at the party he “stabbed a kid.”
