Fire erupts multiple times destroying homes under construction in Brampton

Seven homes under construction have been destroyed after three separate fires erupted in a new subdivision in Brampton.

The Brampton Fire department said crews initially responded to the scene near McVean Drive and Countryside Road around 3 p.m. Thursday.

Two other fires at the same location were reported at 9 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. Friday.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fires are under investigation.

The estimated cost of the damage is $500,000.
