Power fully restored at Shaw building in Calgary after fire

Power has been fully restored to the Shaw building in Calgary after Wednesday’s fire at Shaw Court.

The call centres were restored early Friday evening, and there are no further outages to Shaw customers in relation to the fire.

Extra Shaw staff have been brought in to help with the backlog and assist people who are in need of help

Work continues at Alberta Health Services and the provincial government to fully restore their operations as some of their key computer systems went offline after the fire at the Shaw building.

IBM, which operates the government databases, has offices in the building and suffered some damage as a result of the fire.
