The Raptors are trying to make it easier for fans looking to skip out on work to catch Game 5 of their playoff series Tuesday.

The team has released a fill-in-the-blanks excuse form penned by general manager Masai Ujiri employees can hand their bosses to strengthen their plea to slip out in time for the 6 p.m. home-game tipoff.

“(Blank) is an integral part of our team and we need all hands on deck tonight for Game 5,” it reads.

“So I’m personally asking for your help by excusing (blank) early so they can be ready in time, either in the stands at the Air Canada Centre, outside in the Square or tuning in from home, showing the world who we are.”

The Raptors have also got fans covered with not one but two out-of-office email replies ready to use.

Some bosses may very well go for it — as happened with the Blue Jays’ playoff run last year.

Several workplaces closed up shop early in time for the first pitch.

The Raptors were sent packing in Game 4 with an ugly 100-83 loss to the Indiana Pacers.

The series is tied up 2-2.
