Trudeau and Notley to talk pipelines at K-Country retreat

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his cabinet are meeting in Kananaskis this weekend.

The retreat, 85 km west of Calgary, includes a meeting Sunday night with Premier Rachel Notley.

Her office has indicated the premier intends to talk to Trudeau about the need for a pipeline to bring Alberta’s oil to the coast.

Notley last met with Trudeau when he visited the Alberta legislature in February.

The Liberals’ retreat ends Tuesday and includes minsters’ chiefs of staff.  They will be staying at the Delta Lodge. Corporate rooms there bill out for between $132 and $299 per night.

It’s unclear how much the overall trip will cost.
