The trial is scheduled for two weeks beginning May 1, 2017.

Lush disappeared in March 2015 after leaving a house party in the Spring Bank area. His remains were later found near Longview, southwest of Calgary.

On Jan. 8, 2016, a Queen’s Bench justice denied Bauer bail, citing the third ground, which is to maintain public confidence in the administration of justice.
