CALGARY – RCMP have laid charges in a dangerous driving stunt on the QEII Highway that went viral after being caught on a dashcam.
It happened on northbound Highway 2 near Bowden, Alta. at around 11:20 a.m. on April 10.
The video, posted by Anton Vladimirovich, shows a car travelling in the right-hand lane which swerves into the centre of the lane and passes between two vehicles travelling in front of it.

Data from the dashcam shows the vehicle capturing the video was driving around 120 kilometres per hour.
Sylvan Lake RCMP said they received a complaint about the dangerously close pass shortly after it happened.
Officers were able to locate a suspect in Sylvan Lake about an hour later. The driver was questioned but not arrested.
On Friday, RCMP announced 20-year-old Kunal Anand of Calgary had been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
