Male suffers serious injuries after shooting in Etobicoke

A male was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a shooting in west-end Toronto early Tuesday morning.

Toronto EMS responded to the call around 4:30 a.m. in the area of Dixon Road and Kipling Avenue in Etobicoke.

Crews arrived on scene and located a male with a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

There’s no word yet on any suspects and the investigation is ongoing.
