SASKATOON – A bank robbery that happened Wednesday on Saskatoon’s west side may be connected to two previous bank robberies. The latest robbery happened around 5:50 p.m. CT at a financial institution in the 100-block of Betts Avenue.
According to police, a man entered the bank and demanded money. He made off on a mountain-style bike with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A search of the area failed to turn up the suspect.
He was wearing a red ball cap, a black jacket with a black hoodie underneath and jeans.
Police are also looking for a white late-model Ford half-ton truck with no tailgate and a B.C. license plate that detectives have identified as a vehicle of interest in the robbery.

Investigators say the most recent robbery may have been carried out by the same man who robbed two banks on March 28.
