SASKATOON – It will soon be easier and faster to communicate with the city to resolve issues like potholes and water main breaks, according to city officials. Service Saskatoon was unveiled at city hall Wednesday morning, promising to improve all-around service to citizens.

Once implemented, anyone who contacts the city for service will receive a tracking number to monitor the city’s response.

“We are embarking on a transformation in the way we provide services to you,” said Catherine Gryba, general manager of corporate performance with the city.

A ‘citizen advisory panel’ will provide online feedback to guide the design of Service Saskatoon.

The city will transition to the new model over the next five years.
