Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, ‘Game of Thrones’ stars, go public with relationship

Being a cast member of HBO’s Game of Thrones involves a lot of secrecy, especially when it comes to plot lines. Even a tiny leaked detail can unravel years of story building. Thankfully the same doesn’t necessarily apply to romantic relationships.

Kit Harington, who plays the brooding Jon Snow, and Rose Leslie, who played his one-time love interest Ygritte, finally revealed their real-life relationship at the Olivier Awards in London, England, on Sunday.

The twosome, who have been rumoured to be dating for four years, “came out” as a couple by sharing a kiss and holding hands on the red carpet.

This tweet from a Game of Thrones information account teased fans last month.

The rumour mill heated up in January when the couple was caught kissing in L.A.

Appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show over the weekend, Harington commented on his relationship status, saying, “I fell in love in Iceland.”

When host Ross asked who he fell in love with, Harington smiled, replying, “I fell in love with my co-star.”
