UPDATE: One wanted, two arrested in violent Punnichy home invasion

RCMP are still searching for two suspects after a violent robbery in Lestock, Sask., in December.

On Dec. 23, 2015, at approximately 9:50 p.m., RCMP say a group of men forced their way into a house on Arpad Avenue in the village.

According to police, the only occupant of the residence, a 56-year-old man from Lestock, had been assaulted with a baseball bat. He was taken to a hospital in Fort Qu’appelle, Sask., with non-life-threatening injuries.

One suspect, Tyler Wayne Pambrun, 20, was charged on April 2 with aggravated assault, robbery while armed with an offensive weapon and break and enter into a dwelling house.

He appeared in Provincial Court Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Fort Qu’appelle.

Police are still searching for Desmond Lee Pambrun, 23, from the Muskowekwan First Nation and Edward William Pelletier, 36, from Star Blanket First Nation. Warrants have been issued for the two men.

They face the same three charges as Tyler Pambrun. Desmond Pambrun is also facing a charge of intent to commit an indictable offence. Pelletier is charged with disguise with intent.
