‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 finale may be the last straw for fans

Going into Sunday night’s The Walking Dead Season 6 finale, fans were expecting something big to happen.

After many episodes of meandering (including this finale, which was essentially the group walking/driving/talking in circles) and teases of potential deaths, a whole lot of nothing took place as the main characters encountered “big bad” Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in the finale.

Then, the episode ended on a major cliffhanger, leaving fans with a very bad taste in their mouths. TWD watchers took to (where else?) the Internet to express their displeasure.

Vox called it “the worst episode the show has ever done,” Forbes said the cliffhanger was “ridiculous,” and AV Club said the finale was “so idiotic it’s actually kind of hilarious.”
