EDMONTON — Global Edmonton has been nominated for seven RTDNA Canada awards in the Prairie Region, including best newscast.
On top of the nominations (listed below) Global Edmonton’s veteran news anchor Gord Steinke will be honoured with the Prairie Region Lifetime Achievement Award at the awards ceremony in Medicine Hat on April 23.

RTDNA Canada Awards honour the best journalists, programs, stations and newsgathering organizations in radio, television and digital.

Editorial / Commentary – Mirror, Mirror in the Wall
Sports Award – Busy Sports Mom
Last year, Global Edmonton took home three RTDNA awards.
