WINNIPEG — Winnipeg police are looking for two suspects after a woman said she was forced into the back seat of a car, assaulted and then sexually assaulted.
Police said the attack took place on March 14 around noon.
In a media release police said the 23-year-old woman was near Main Street and Jarvis Avenue when a car pulled up beside her. She alleges the suspect forced her into the car where he allegedy hit her multiple times. The second suspect drove the car to another location where the victim says she was restrained and sexually assaulted.
She was eventually able to run to safety.
One of the suspects is described as a caucasian male.
