LUMBY– The voting is on and some Lumby residents stayed up all night to get their vote in.

“If grandma Lusczc can stay up for voting for Lumby to be Hockeyville 2016, you can vote for an extra hour,” said Payton Kineshanko who’s grandmother stayed up until 3 a.m. on Monday voting.

The north Okanagan community has made it all the way to the finals in the Kraft Hockeyville contest, and it’s asking for the support of British Columbians to take it all the way.

Canadians have voted Lumby and Saint-Isidore, QB into the top two.

Voting resumed Sunday and will be open until Monday at 9 p.m. to decide the winner.

“The Lumby community hall [was] alive all night as Lumby’s headquarters for voting for Hockeyville. A group of teenagers have been focusing on bringing the title home against Saint Isidore, Quebec,” says Lumby resident Angie Clowry.
