A man has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was shot in the head at a house party in north Toronto.

Police responded to a report of a shooting around 4:30 a.m. Sunday at a home on Glenelia Avenue, near Finch and Bayview avenues.

Surveillance video shows partygoers frantically running from the house in the aftermath of the shooting.

Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to a trauma centre in critical condition.

There’s no word yet on any suspects.

The Toronto Star reported last year that neighbours have complained the large five-bedroom house was regularly rented out on website Airbnb and used for noisy parties.

An Airbnb spokesperson confirmed Sunday the house is listed on their service but said it was not being rented through them at the time of the shooting.
