A 23-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault after a stabbing at a house in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police Const. George Tudos says officers responded to a call of some kind of fight or disturbance at the home on Moffat Avenue around 3 a.m. Saturday.

He says a 23-year-old man was stabbed and remains in a Toronto hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

Police aren’t saying whether the alleged victim and the accused know each other, but say the incident wasn’t random.
Brandon Boodram, 23, was due in court Saturday morning on one charge of aggravated assault.
