MONTREAL – Police are searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run in the borough of Rosemont Thursday evening, that sent two people to hospital.
The incident happened at around 8:30 p.m. when a truck travelling north on D’Iberville Street rammed into the rear of a car near Holt Street.
The suspect’s vehicle then swerved and hit a car heading southbound.
The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
According to Maunuel Couture with Montreal police, a one-year-old girl and 51-year-old man, were taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Collision experts were at the scene last night gathering evidence.
The investigation is ongoing.
